Axel was looking to expand his leadership skills and gain new perspectives.

Axel, a key member of the family-run Anglo American Oil Company, was looking to expand his leadership skills and gain new perspectives. With his parents having led the company for many years, Axel had already learned a lot, but he recognized the need to meet other leaders and business owners to broaden his experience. Anglo American Oil, which produces and sells sustainable fuels, required fresh strategic insights to continue its growth.

The Solution

In the winter of 2023, Axel attended Evolve’s Growth Group Programme.

This provided a perfect opportunity for him to interact with leaders and owners from other engineering and manufacturing businesses. The programme included four workshops and one-to-one sessions, focusing on developing business strategy, planning and capacity building, leadership for growth, and team engagement.

The Outcome

Axel greatly benefited from the Growth Group Programme.

The experience broadened his horizons and introduced him to new perspectives, supporting and motivating him in his leadership role.
