Supporting growth through leadership development

As Composite Profiles continued to grow, the business recognised the importance of strengthening leadership capability across its management team to support future performance, improve team effectiveness and align managers more closely with the strategic goals of the business. 

To help achieve this, Evolve designed and delivered a bespoke six-month Leadership & Management Development Programme for four managers from different functions across the business. 

The programme focused on equipping participants with the skills, confidence and mindset needed to lead effectively, improve communication and take greater ownership of performance within their teams and departments.

Composite Profiles approached Evolve with a clear objective - to further develop its managers

Working closely with Composite’s senior leadership team, Evolve designed a tailored programme aligned to the specific challenges and opportunities facing the business. 

The programme aimed to:

  • Improve communication and team management skills  
  • Increase accountability and performance ownership

Prior to the programme launch, Evolve engaged with participants to understand individual development needs and ensure the content aligned closely with both personal responsibilities and wider business objectives. 

A practical and interactive programme

Delivered over six months, the programme consisted of one interactive workshop per month, combining discussion-led learning with practical application relevant to participants’ day-to-day roles. 

The sessions encouraged managers to reflect on their own leadership style, share experiences and apply their learning directly back into the workplace.

The programme was designed to create an open environment where managers could challenge thinking, build confidence and develop practical leadership skills to support their teams more effectively, alongside supporting Composite’s growth plans. 

Building confidence and accountability 

Through the programme, managers were encouraged to take greater ownership of performance, improve communication across their teams and strengthen their ability to lead through change and growth. 

The programme, made up of in-person, interactive sessions also helped create stronger links between leadership behaviours and the wider strategic objectives of the business.
