David Mutton is an experienced business advisor who works with both early-stage businesses and established SMEs to support growth, shape strategy and develop stronger leadership teams. His work typically spans three key areas: helping start-ups gain clarity and momentum, facilitating strategic planning with growing businesses, and building leadership and management capability within teams.
He has delivered a range of programmes including management training with organisations such as Composite Profiles UK and Gama Aviation, culture development with Ellis Jones LLP, and business accelerator and start-up programmes in partnership with BCP Council and local universities.
David holds a Level 5 Certificate in Professional Business & Enterprise Support (IOEE) and is currently completing the CIPD Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning & Development.
Before moving into advisory work, David was a founding director at Land & Wave, where he helped grow the business from two to fifty employees. With a focus on finance, people and operations, he brings first-hand experience of the realities of building and scaling a business. His approach is calm, practical and grounded in real-world experience, making him a trusted sounding board for business owners and leaders.
