The network provides a platform for information sharing, collaborative working, idea development, etc.
The January 2024 event is kindly being hosted by The Railway Inn (SO22 5AE). The Railway Inn is Winchester’s only music venue, featuring comedy nights, poetry nights, regular film screenings and youth projects. They have two venues, plus a bar that’s open every day, and a large covered garden. The Railway Inn was built in 1850 but it’s still not finished. In recent years, it has established a national reputation as one of the UK’s premier regional live music venues.
Come along at 6pm on Thursday 9th January, grab a drink and join other creatively-minded people for stimulating conversations. Speaker will be approximately 6.30pm with time for questions and more chat afterwards.
We are delighted that Becky Phillips from Evolve will be joining us to speak about the Winchester Creative Growth Programme. Find out more about a series of masterclasses and workshops specifically designed for Winchester’s creative businesses, based on what you asked for. Becky will give an overview of the programme and then be around to answer any questions you might have.
Anyone with an interest in arts and culture is welcome to join the networking events. Those working professionally in the sector and hobbyists are equally welcome. Likewise we welcome people from all across the district, not just those in the city centre. The events are organised by Winchester City Council, in partnership with the district’s cultural sector. We look forward to welcoming you!
This event is proudly funded by Winchester City Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), making it completely free to attend.
